Welcome

I love to paint on large canvases. Painting freely I use colour and texture to capture the essence of my subjects. Painting provides a release. It gives me freedom, enabling me to switch off from my busy working life.

Whether painting flowers, landscapes or buildings, I’m creating unique pieces to brighten up any wall space through their colour, texture and sense of life.

Continuing to experiment with mixed media, I’m always looking for new and interesting subjects and ways to paint. This means that each picture evolves in its own way.

My enjoyment of walking my dog Max through the countryside inspires me to capture Cotswold cottages, seasonal woods and meadows. And from my home in Montpellier, my walks through Cheltenham provide further inspiration as I frequently discover new angles on familiar scenes. And, of course there are always flowers in the garden or on the table.

You can see my art at the Wyastone Hotel in Parabola Road, Cheltenham and a small selection of flower paintings at Montpellier Flowers, Montpellier Street.
